I make a lot of drawings to figure out compositions and to set up the spaces I paint. Some end up as decent drawings alone, while others are more of a flurry of mistakes and bad ideas. How do you work through ideas?

My First Time Lapse Video

Finished editing my first time lapse video, of a painting called Why Not Paint Cakes? I am very excited and learned a lot from it. Next time I'll be changing a number of things-

The painting won't be in front of a window! this one really should have occurred to me when I was setting up.
I will honor the tripod. And not bump it at all through the process.
I will take more pictures! This video was 18 seconds and had about 65 still images- more will give a better impression of time and allow for a smoother ride.
